Of course some other entertainment-related scandal would soon drive us away from Tiger Woods… Just a shame that it had to be a death. Since the reason for Brittany Murphy’s cardiac arrest is unknown, the media will get to cover this story up at least until the toxicology reports are done in a few weeks. Until then, we’re going to be bombarded with what celebrities are tweeting about it and speculating what kind of drugs she was taking and why she was married to that unattractive guy in the first place. I actually heard about it on the 6pm news that was playing at nail salon and even the employees, who barely speak English stopped their work for a second in shock. One of them referred to her as the “girl who dated Ashton Kutcher” and I hope that’s not what he really is remembered as because she was pretty bomb in Clueless back in the day. A gay man getting a pedicure blamed her weight. Everyone there agreed and discussed it- people who had thus far not so much as exchanged looks with one another; now they had something to chat about. Sad.
